Ways to become a good leader

Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions. - Harold S. Geenen

In every successful company that stands the test of time, there will always be those good leaders that keep everyone working hard to achieve goals and stay loyal to their employer.
It is from a great leader that makes a company stand tall through  time and stood still and growing within the competitive industry. These Leaders had gone thru several business management trainings  to develop their competency and ability to lead a team.

You can be like them too! It only takes practice and discipline aside from formal training. Here are some useful tips that cam help you present yourself as a good one!

  •   Firm and Fair - You may have thought that to have a good image to your people, you've got to accommodate their needs whenever they please. It's good to know that people can turn on you but some tend to take advantage of it. So, before they become accustom to it, make sure to always imply on the company rules and standards but still compassionate enough to be willing to be flexible in extreme cases.

  • Honesty and Trust- It is the responsibility of the Leader to become transparent and open to their colleagues. It's also important to take time to know each of your team member to build a good relationship with them
  •  Inspiration and Motivation - Show your conviction to the mission and vision of the company. When people see how you work according to the mission and vision of the firm, they will be inspired and they'll see you as a good Role Model to follow.
  • Get feedback - Know how your people perceive you and your way of leading them. Ask if there's any negative things they find on you-- in a comfortable and not so formal way. Avoid being defensive when you’re hearing negative feedback learn how to improve yourself through them instead
